Looking for useful glow in the dark products?

A while ago we were looking for a replacement for the glow in the dark torch we used to stock which, although good, was a little dated. We were very pleasantly surprised to come across a company making some of the best glow in the dark products we had ever seen, DualGlo Technology Ltd.
In our tests we found that just 10 minutes of light to charge up a DualGlo torch gave more than a nights worth of glow. We were incredibly impressed with the brightness too, as you can imagine we see many many glow in the dark products, but these really impressed us. The glow appeared as bright in the middle of the night as it had done when we had charged it up a number of hours earlier.

This is the star of all the DualGlo products,the best glow in the dark torch available on the market. It is fitted with a bright six LED cluster which gives outstanding performance and very low power consumption meaning that your batteries last much longer. The torch has a strobe light function which makes it an excellent beacon. Incredibly useful, incredibly bright keyfob torch. Keyfob torches can be a little underwhelming when it comes to their ability to light the way, well not this one. From personal experience, I would suggest that you don't look directly at the bulb when you press the on button!!.

Ever been a guest at someones house or in a hotel and woken up in the middle of the night, and in your sleepy haze fumbled arround for the light switch? If only they had installed one of these.
An incredibly simple idea, which is so easy to fit and use. This is a peice of white (in daylight) plastic that fits behind any standard light switch and in the dark glows fabulously well to highlight the light switch.Genius!

Reduce the risk of night time drink spillage with a clever glow in the dark mat. Perfect for children as it is child safe and conforms to a Brtitish Standard (BS EN71 Pt 1,2 & 3). They have a soft back to prevent furniture scratching. These are an ideal bedside item, suitable for use with both hot and cold drinks.

At first glance this is a rather unusual product, however, we have grown to really like these. They are an excellent replacement for an electric nightlight, the GlowMoons glow gently at your bedside throughout the darkness hours they need nothing more than light to work i.e no electricity, making them a very environmentally friendly product, and extremely versatile. You can take it with you when you go camping or to friends houses and it can be placed in any position you want. Again this product is so safe that it has been certified to a British standard (BS EN71 Pt 1,2 & 3) which is the standard for children's toys.

The Technical stuff
DualGlo is based on a chemical called Strontium Aluminate which is a photoluminescent material i.e it glows in the dark. Strontium Aluminate is very safe, not radioactive and up to 7 times brighter than Zinc Sulphide materials that have historically been used in glow in the dark products. In fact DualGlo products are so safe they have been certified as safe as childrens toys.
